The Hudson Police Department Local 3979 and the Columbia County 911 Dispatchers Benevolent Association Local 2790D have both issued endorsements of Sheriff David P. Bartlett for reelection. Both organizations are members of the New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union – Council 82.
In announcing the endorsement on behalf of the Hudson Police Officers, Union President Det. Chris Filli said, “[Sheriff Bartlett has] continually provided our agency with countless assistance through the highs and lows. The working relationship not only in criminal investigations between agencies is second to none and we look forward to the continued cooperation in the upcoming years.”
Sheriff Bartlett thanked both departments for their support, saying “There’s no more rewarding endorsement than the ones that come from your fellow public safety agencies. They are most meaningful. The men and women of the Hudson City Police Department and the Columbia County 911 Department do outstanding work each and every day. It’s a pleasure to work with them and I appreciate their support very much.”
Hudson Police Officers and Columbia County 911 Dispatchers join a growing list of endorsements for Sheriff Bartlett, which includes the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Union, Columbia County Deputy Sheriff’s Benevolent Association, New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association, and the New York State Police Investigators Association.
