Letter to the Editor - Peter Merante Sr, Hudson

My family has known Sheriff David Bartlett for many years. His dedication, integrity, loyalty and drive for professionalism assures that Columbia County residents receive the utmost in service. Some of his most recent accomplishments include: 1) Placing deputies in many Columbia County Schools as resource officers to help combat the opioid crisis on local children 2) Having his office join with the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood to help children who have incarcerated parents. 3) Brought back the Columbia County D.A.R.E. Program. 4) He has received special recognition from the United States Department of Defense for supporting his staff that are called to serve their country. 5) County wide under his supervision violent crime statistics are on the decline, 6) Having his department reaccredited assures that the residents of Columbia County are receiving the highest standard of professionalism and services. 7) Under his command, his staff is constantly attending State and Federally training programs for effective policing.

In conclusion, please re-elect Sheriff Dave Bartlett as he continues to be great for Columbia County.
